- Start the day with a visit to the city capital of Muscat. The city's name, "Muscat," translates to "Anchorage," a nod to its natural harbor nestled within a volcanic bowl. Visit to the Grand Mosque, a monumental structure that stands as a testament to Oman's devotion and architectural splendor. Learn a brief introduction on the traces Oman’s history and development at the Bait Al Zubair Museum. Drive along the waterfront Corniche visiting the Fish Market & the colourful Muttrah Souq. Have a photo stop at Al Alam Palace, the official residence of His Majesty Sultan Qaboos. Return to your hotel and overnight.

Set off to a 4WD journey that will lead you into the heart of Oman's mountains. Your first stop is Nakhl Springs, a hidden gem nestled amid stunning landscapes. Take a leisurely walk through the village along lush palm dates and Falaj Syste,, the traditional water channels. Visit as well the iconic Nakhl Fort, perched majestically atop a rocky outcrop surrounded by palm tree orchards and provides panoramic views of the surrounding landscapes.

Depart to Dibab and travel off-road track to reach Wadi Arbayeen. This wadi is characterized by lush date palms and deep pools of water.

Muscat – Flight to Khasab – Khasab Tour – Jabal Harim – Birkhat Khalidiya Park – Khasab

Depart Muscat and fly to Khasab. Upon arrival, your journey kicks off with a city tour, where you will visit the Khasab Fort, your first stop. The fort, stands as a testament to Oman's heritage and strategic importance. See pre-historical rock paintings at Wadi Tawi.

Jabal Harim

In the afternoon, hop on to a 4x4 and drive to Jebel Harim. This towering peak, standing at 2087 meters, is the highest mountain in Musandam. Along the way, stop at the picturesque 'Sayh' village, perched at an elevation of 1100 meters above sea level. From the Khawr Al Najid, view the splendid coastline spread with turquoise blue waters lapping the shores.

Dhow Cruise Musandam

Board a traditional dhow, an emblem of Oman's maritime heritage, and set sail into the cerulean waters of the fjords. As your dhow glides through the fjords, you will see small fishing villages that have stood the test of time. The highlight of the day is the visit to the famous Telegraph Island, once served as a vital link in the telegraph line between India and Britain. If you are lucky, you can see playful companions of the sea—dolphins. Enjoy sumptuous lunch board and free time to swim or snorkel.

Morning time, drive to an old town fishing village of Taqa. Wander through its narrow streets, where Taqa stone houses tell tales of generations past. The crown jewel of Taqa is its captivating castle, surrounded by watchtowers.

Proceed onward to Khor Rori creek, where you will see the archaeological ruins of Samhuram. This was the capital of ancient Arabia's frankincense trade, linking the region to the far reaches of the world.

Mirbat

Discover the ancient capital of Dhofar, Mirbat, which held prominence as early as the 9th century. The town's history unfolds through its old houses, renowned for their intricate woodcarvings. Mirbat was a bustling center for trade, dealing in frankincense, horses, and even slaves.

Bin Ali Tomb

Then visit the fine example of medieval architectural prowess, the twin-domed structure of Bin Ali's Tomb. Explore the tomb of Mohamed bin Ali, who passed away in 1135 AD. This place of rest stands as a tribute to a time long gone, yet preserved in the intricate details of its design.

Prophet Job's Tomb

Continue to Nabi Ayoub, the tomb of the Biblical figure Prophet Job. Perched high in the mountains, with breathtaking views of the surrounding landscapes.

Mughsail Beach

Make your way to the Mughsail Beach, where nature puts on a spectacular show. Witness the "blow-holes," where perforations in the limestone rock create a mesmerizing display of seawater gushing during high tide. The power of the ocean takes center stage in a breathtaking performance.

Salalah

As the day ends, drive back to Salalah through the hairpin bend roads for approximately 15/20 km that leads you to a wadi, where you may spot seasonal birds in the nearby bird sanctuary. Along the way, you'll notice the distinctive shape of leafless Frankincense Trees. Proceed to your accommodation and overnight.

- Dress Code: light clothes covering arms and legs; women need to cover the hair when visiting a mosque.
- Highly recommended to bring comfortable walking shoes, sunblock, sunglasses, hat and mosquito repellent.
- We do not recommend to stay in the desert in the month of June and July due to the hot weather.
- Opening Hours of Grand Mosque Sultan Qaboos in Muscat: Sat – Thu 08:30-11:00, Fri closed.
- All excursions in Khasab are on group sharing basis.

- Cancellations or changes need to be sent in written form. Charges are as follows:
• 5% of the total price of the trip for cancellations from the date of booking until 41 days before departure.
• 50% of the total price of the trip for cancellations or changes made 40 to 15 days before departure.
• 100% of the total price of the trip for cancellations or changes made 14 to 01 days before departure or no show.
