Tour Itinerary

Day 1: Cairo Airport - Cairo Hotel    

Ahlan Wa Sahlan – welcome to Egypt! Our representative meets you at the passport control of Cairo Airport. Transfer to your booked hotel in Egypt’s capital, check-in. The remainder of the day is free. Cairo is a fascinating city and home to the mighty Nile, the longest and the most vital river in the world. Try to check some floating restaurants and river cruise boats, or experience the lively Khan El Khalili Bazaar.

Day 2: Pyramids of Giza & Sphinx - Egyptian Museum - Cairo    

Breakfast at the hotel. You will be picked up by our representative and transferred to enjoy a tour of the Giza Pyramids. Khufu's pyramid is the northernmost and largest of the three. In classical antiquity, it was considered one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World and is the only one to have survived. Khephren's monument can be easily identified by the casing stones that still cling to its pointed top. The much smaller pyramid of Mycerinus had not been completed by the time of the king's death. The Great Sphinx is part of the funerary complex of Khephren. Proceed to the Egyptian Museum of Antiquities near Tahrir Square in Cairo. It houses the world’s largest, most precious, and rare collection of genuine artifacts, over 250,000 pieces are displayed dating back to 5000 years.

Day 3: Cairo - Catacombs of Kom El Shokafa - Bibliotheca Alexandrina- Alexandria    

Early pick you up at your hotel in Cairo then travel for 2.5-3 hours to visit the city of Alexandria, also known as the pearl of the Mediterranean Sea. It is believed to be Egypt's second most important city after Cairo and one of the top summer resorts for Arab countries and the Middle East. Visit the Catacombs of Kom El Shokafa, it is the largest Roman Cemetery consisting of 3 levels cut in the rock underground tunnel that shows the merger between Roman and Egyptian art. This cemetery has been established originally for one family but expanded to act as a public cemetery. Continue to the Castle of Sultan Qaitbay, built on the same spot as the ancient lighthouse of Alexandria. Transfer to your hotel in Alexandria and overnight.

Day 4: Montazah Gardens - Cairo to Aswan – Overnight Train    

This morning, pay a visit to Al Montazah Palace and Gardens. Montazah gardens are home to two palaces, one built-in 1892 and another in 1932 by King Fuad I. They are located along the shoreline and flow from splendidly landscaped gardens into great beaches. Drive back to Cairo for about 3 hours. In the evening, hop in a sleeper train bound to Aswan, travel time is approximately 13 hours.

Day 5: Elephantine Island & Temple of Philae - Dinner with Nubian Family -    

Upon arrival in Aswan, have an amazing felucca ride on the Nile in Aswan to see the Elephantine Island. Enjoy watching the fascinating view and the color mixing between the navy blue for the River Nile, green for land, yellow for desert, and light blue for the sky. Then proceed to a motorboat to reach Agilkia Island, where you will visit the Temple of Philae that was erected during the Greco-Roman period and was dedicated to the goddess Isis. On the walls of the temple of Philae were inscribed the latest hieroglyphic and demotic inscriptions. Free time to visit the Nubian Museum on your own. You'll visit a local Nubian family to have a home-cooked dinner. Overnight at Aswan.

Day 6: Abu Simbel - Aswan – Overnight on Board    

After breakfast at the hotel, Drive southwest of Aswan for about 3.5 hours to enjoy an amazing tour at Abu Simbel Temples. The two rock temples of Abu Simbel, mighty monuments of the "Builder Pharaoh" Ramesses II, are very amazing by virtue of their imposing size and the uniqueness of their design. The main purpose of the temples was to glorify the king in his divine aspect, as well as his principal queen Nefertari. This masterpiece is a unique heritage of Pharaonic Egypt. After the tour, transfer back to Aswan and then transfer to your Nile Cruise. Enjoy a leisurely dinner and overnight on board.

Day 7: Nile Cruise Excursion (Kom Ombo) – Overnight on Board    

Breakfast on board. The tour begins by visiting the double temple of the Hellenistic period on the eastern bank, the Temple of Kom Ombo. You’ll learn about the crocodile god Sobek and the falcon god Horus, whose monuments decorate each half of the temple. You’ll have your lunch back on board the ship. Relax and enjoy the rest of the day. Have a leisurely dinner and overnight on board.

Day 8: Nile Cruise Excursion (Edfu) – Overnight on Board    

Breakfast on board. You'll visit the Temple of Horus in Edfu, which is considered to be one of the most well-preserved temples in Egypt. It is also the repository of the most detailed legacy on matters of cult and temple function. Back on board to have lunch while sailing to Esna. Relax and enjoy the rest of the day. Have a leisurely dinner and overnight on board.

Day 9: Disembark Cruise - Luxor East Bank - Luxor    

After breakfast on board and disembark the cruise. Today discover the East bank of Luxor including Karnak Temples, which are the largest structures ever built in the history of mankind. The principal building is that of the god Amun Ra. Later on, you will proceed to visit the Temple of Luxor, which was built by one of the kings of the 12th dynasty and completed by the well-known king Ramses II. The remaining time of the day is free leisurely on your own. Then transfer to your hotel in Luxor, check-in, and overnight.

Day 10: Luxor West Bank - Luxor    

Our representative will meet you and the tour starts by crossing the River Nile to Luxor West Bank. Pay a visit at Colossi of Memnon. The first monument one encounters on a visit to the west bank of Luxor is the site of the funerary temple of Amenhotep III. The temple itself has all but completely disappeared, but the colossal twin statues of the king, which once stood proudly in front of the entrance to the temple, are still there to greet the visitor. Come and see the magnificent Valley of the King. The most concentration of royal tombs in Ancient Egypt. It is where cut in rocks tombs for 62 famous kings of the New Kingdom, all are highly decorated and filled with priceless artwork. Continue to visit the Hatshepsut temple built and named after the powerful Queen Hatshepsut the only woman who ascended the throne of Egypt in ancient times. This temple is located at Deir el-Bahari, a steep cliff in the shape of a horseshoe forms a natural background to two monumental buildings standing side by side, each belonging to a different period. Return back to your hotel in Luxor and overnight.

Day 11: Flight from Luxor to Cairo - Khan el-Khalili - Cairo    

Breakfast at the hotel. Transfer to Luxor Airport for your flight back to Cairo. The flight from Luxor to Cairo lasts for about 1 hour. Then continue by visiting Cairo’s most famous open-air market, the Khan El Khalil Grand Bazaar, located in the old area of Al-Qahira. Here you can buy souvenirs such as silverware, faux antiques, stained glass lamps, incense, and more. Transfer to your hotel in Cairo, check-in, and overnight.

- After booking the tour with us online, one of our consultants will get in touch within 24 hours. You need to pay then a 25% deposit by credit card or by bank transfer. The full payment is due latest 15 days before the tour start.
- Cancellations or changes need to be sent in written form. Charges are as follows:
• 5% of the total price of the trip for cancellations from the date of booking until 41 days before departure.
• 50% of the total price of the trip for cancellations or changes made 40 to 15 days before departure.
• 100% of the total price of the trip for cancellations or changes made 14 to 01 days before departure or no show.
