Day 1
Arrival – Algiers

Ahlan bikum fi al-Jaza'ir! Upon arrival to the airport, meet our representative at he arrival hall of the airport and drive to your hotel in Algiers and check in. Once freshen up, meet your guide at the lobby of your hotel for a walking tour at the downtown. Visit the iconic Grande Poste building, a symbol of the city's colonial past and architectural charm. Stroll along the port area, where you can see the blend of modern activity and maritime heritage. If time permits, ascend to the Basilica Notre Dame d’Afrique to have a panoramic view of the city. Return to your hotel and overnight.

Algiers – Tipaza – Tomb of the Christian – Djanet

Your journey continues towards In Zouatane in a 4x4. Buckle up and set out to see captivating terrains, sand dunes, and stop to some various site to see ancient story etched into the rocks - the tale of a Sahara region that was once a thriving, wildlife-rich savannah plain. After the long day of driving through the desert, reach the campsite at Tin Merzouga, a location that stands in proximity to the borders of Niger and Libya. While your guide prepares your dinner and tent for the night, you may opt to hike the "red-colored" sand dunes nearby the campsite. Rising to staggering heights of up to 18,000 feet, these dunes offer not only a physical challenge but also unforgettable panoramic views.

Tin Merzouga – Oued Amais

Practical Info

• Breakfast at hotels is served in the main restaurant.
• Friday & Saturday is the weekend in Algeria. During Friday, sites, most of the shops, malls and other business are close.
• Dress code: In general, both men and women should dress modestly especially when visiting rural areas, cover shoulders, upper arms, and knees. Avoid transparent and tightfitting clothes. When visiting a mosque women must cover their head with a scarf.
• Please pack comfortable walking shoes, warm clothes for the cooler nights and depending on season sun protection.
• The desert safari involves off-road driving through rough terrain and rugged areas. Visitors should not participate if their health or any pre-existing medical conditions like back problems may be adversely affected.
• The driver/tour guide escorts you according to the booked itinerary, he is not 24/7 at your disposal. For any extra activity or extra use of vehicle, there is a supplement.
• Day to day itinerary subject to change due to unforeseen circumstances, we will make every effort to ensure that all mentioned sites are visited to the best of our ability.

- After booking the tour with us online, one of our consultants will get in touch within 24 hours. We inform you when all services are confirmed. You need to pay then a 25% deposit by credit card or by bank transfer. The full payment is due latest 14 days before tour start.
- Cancellations need to be sent in written form. Charges are as follows:
• 29 $USD per person from the day of booking up to 30 days before departure.
• 47 $USD per person for cancellations made between 30 to 15 days before departure.
• 25% of the total price of the trip for cancellations made 15 to 08 days before departure.
• 50% of the total price of the trip for cancellations made between 08 to 02 days before departure.
• 100% of the total price of the trip for cancellations made less than 48 hours before departure.
- For refunds we do not cover transaction fees charged by credit card companies and banks.
