Pickup hotel lobby and start your day with a 1 hour drive to Rabat, the administrative capital. Visit of the Royal Palace (Mechouar), the Quadayas Garden and Kasbah, the Mohamed V Mausoleum and the Hassan Tower Mosque. Proceed 1.5 hours to Meknes, one of the four Imperial cities. It has with 40 km the longest ramparts in Morocco; see the famous Bab Al Mansour, the Royal Stables and the Jewish Quarter. Next stop are the Roman ruins of Volubilis. Continue around 1 hour to Fez, the second largest city in Morocco, for overnight stay at a Luxury Riad such as Palais Faraj Suites & Spa. Driving Distance: 320 km
Today discover Fez, the spiritual city of Morocco. With your local guide enter the bustling Medieval Medina, consisting of Fez El Bali and Fez Jdid. Fez was an important centre of education, that is why you find here many madrasas and mosques. Through winding alleys, the colours, smells and sounds, you reach the Al Attarine Madrasa and Bou Anania Madrasa. Other highlights are the Nejjarine Funduq, an example of the Moroccan riad, the beautiful Moulay Idris Mausoleum and see the exterior of the Karaouine Mosque from the 9th century. Optional you can have lunch at a traditional restaurant located in the heart of the Medina. Afternoon continue along the Souqs, to watch traditional crafts and working artisans. In Fez Jdid see the Royal Palace and the Jewish Mellah. Overnight in Fez.
Breakfast and check-out from hotel. We drive through the Middle Atlas passing by the Berber village of Imouzer and continue to the town of Ifrane. Due to its high altitude of 1,660 meters it is called the Switzerland of Morocco. Stop at Beni Mellal, one of the agricultural centres of Morocco. Short ride to the peaceful area of the Ben El Ouidane lake, where you stay for the night at a hotel. Driving Distance: 350 km
Today the journey takes you to Marrakech, known as the “Pearl of the South”. Afternoon at leisure to start exploring the exotic city on your own or opt for a Hammam visit or a cooking lesson to learn about a real Moroccan meal. Stay overnight at hotel. Driving Distance: 200 km
Set off with your local guide to uncover Marrakech, the second oldest Imperial city of Morocco. The historical sightseeing includes the Menara Garden built in the 12th century and the Saadian Tombs. In this mausoleum you find the tombs of several Saadian sultans which ruled in the 16th and 17th century. Admire the design with floral motifs, calligraphy, wood carvings and marble. Proceed to the Bahia Palace, a fusion of Islamic and Moroccan style. After a stop at the red-stoned Koutoubia Mosque visit Dar Si Said Museum, the Museum of Moroccan Arts. Afternoon stroll in the alleyways of the largest Souq and handicraft quarters of the country. Then to the famous Jemaa el-Fna square with its non-stop entertainment. You find here storytellers, snake charmers, musicians, acrobats and delicious street food. Overnight Marrakech.
Drive back to Casablanca, considered as the economic capital of Morocco. Chance to see the highlights like the Central Market, Quartier Habous, the exterior of the Royal Palace, the Mohamed V Square, the residential area of Anfa, and see from outside the Hassan II Mosque, the largest in the country. Overnight in Casablanca. Driving Distance: 250 km
Dependent on your departure time you will be picked up from your hotel lobby and transferred to Casablanca Airport to say farewell.
