Starting from Amman, this one day journey brings you to the magnificent Petra Archaeological Park. Discover the site with your private local guide, view amazing monuments dated more than 2,000 years. From here continue to the spectacular desert of Wadi Rum for a two hour jeep ride where you’ll see canyons, sand dunes and Nabatean rock inscriptions. Petra
Pick up at Amman Hotel or residence and drive 3 hrs to the red rose city of Petra, one of the New Seven Wonders of the world, and since 1985 a UNESCO World Heritage Site. More than 2,000 years ago the Nabatean Arabs carved here amazing monuments in the sandstone. The Nabateans gained wealth by dominating the trade routes of ancient Arabia, but came under Roman rule in 106 AD. Visitors enter Petra via the Siq, an impressively narrow path, flanked by 80 meters high cliffs, till the Treasury. Other monuments you will see are the Street of Façades and the Royal Tombs. The guide says farewell to you. Lunch at a local restaurant.

Wadi Rum
Continue driving southwards to Wadi Rum for a 2 hr jeep ride visiting Nabatean Temple, Rum Village, Lawrence Spring & Khazali Canyon.

Afterwards transfer for around 4 hrs to Amman Hotel or residence.

- A 700 meters horse ride from the main gate to the beginning of the Siq is included in the admission fee Petra. Horse handler expects a tip of 5 JD per horse. Horse drawn carriage, camel or donkey ride can be booked for certain distances and paid on spot.
- 4x4s in Wadi Rum are old vehicle and no A/C.
- Clients with Jordan Pass receive the refund on spot for entrance fees covered with the pass.

- After booking the tour with us online, one of our consultants will get in touch within 24 hours. You need to pay then a 25% deposit by credit card or by bank transfer. The full payment is due latest 07 days before tour start.
- Cancellations or changes need to be sent in written form. Charges are as follows:
• 100% of the total price of the trip for cancellations or changes made 07 to 01 days before departure or no show.
- For refunds we do not cover transaction fees charged by credit card companies and banks.
