The trip ends with sunny beach holidays in Aqaba at the Red Sea.

At Amman Airport our representative welcomes you with a sign after you exit the customs. From here your driver transfers you for about 50 minutes to your hotel in Amman and helps you with the check-in. The rest of the day is free.

Amman - Explore the capital - Amman

Amman City

After breakfast start your day with a private city tour of Amman. On the Citadel you will see remains from 3 different periods and have a panorama view over the capital. In the traditional area of downtown, we have a look at the Roman Theatre from 2nd century before we head to the modern parts of the city. We visit the Royal Automobile Museum (Tuesdays closed) exhibiting classic cars of the late King Hussein are exhibited. Another option in the same area is the visit of the Children's Museum, the only one of its kind in the whole Middle East. After an exciting day return to your hotel.

Amman - Jerash - Dead Sea Beach - Amman

Jerash

In the morning we drive ca. 50 km in the north to Jerash. This is the best preserved Roman provincial city in the whole Middle East. You enter the historical place via Hadrian's Arch, continue to Oval Plaza, the Roman Colonnaded Street.

We end the day with leisure time at the Dead Sea, the lowest point on earth, where you can float on salty waters.

Amman - Kerak Castle - Petra

Kerak

Today we leave in southern direction to Petra, which will be driven from up to 3 hours. En route we visit the Crusader castle Kerak, perched on a rocky hill with impressing underground halls and corridors.

From here we continue to your hotel in Petra where the rest of the day is free.

Petra Visit - Wadi Rum

Petra

Breakfast, then start the visit of the rock city Petra. If you like, you can take a short horse ride or walk to the narrow gorge, the Siq, from where you go on to the beautiful Treasury. From there you can continue to the Street of Facades and the Royal Tombs.

Wadi Rum

In the afternoon we drive 1.5 hrs to Wadi Rum, one of the most impressing desert landscapes in the world. After the amazing sunset you will have dinner at a Bedouin styled camp, where you spend also the night in tents. You make the magnificent experience of the starry desert sky.

Wadi Rum Adventure - Aqaba

Wadi Rum

Explore the area following the footsteps of Lawrence of Arabia - famous by 4x4 adventurous Jeep tour, stopping at Nabatean rock inscriptions and sand dunes. There is also the option of trying a ride on a camel, the "ship of the desert".

After that we leave the desert behind and hit the road to Aqaba at the Red Sea, for check in at your hotel.

Today, have a leisure time in Aqaba, Jordan's only seaport. Relax at the beach or try one of the water activities to discover the varied marine life like snorkelling or a glass bottom boat ride. Overnight at hotel.

Practical Info


• For entry visa regularities see our blog Visa and Passport Requirements.
• Official check in time at hotels 15:00 – check out time at hotels 12:00.
• Breakfast at hotels is served in the main restaurant.
• The driver/tour guide escorts you according to the booked itinerary, he is not 24/7 at your disposal.
• You walk several km in Petra, so bear in mind good walking shoes and a backpack for beverage, camera etc.
• The spot guides in Jerash & Petra are licensed by the Ministry of Tourism in Jordan and are not part of our team.
• In case of rain the government may decide to close Petra for safety and security reasons.
• For the Dead Sea beach don’t forget swimwear, flip flops and water sandals.
• The Petra ticket includes a 700 meters horse ride from the main gate to the beginning of the Siq. The ride is not mandatory; the horse handler expects a tip of 5 JOD per horse.
• 4x4s in Wadi Rum are old vehicles without A/C and seat belt. They belong to the local Bedouin association.
• For camping in Wadi Rum, we recommend bringing a torch light.
• Wear comfortable walking shoes and depending on season pack sun protection.
• 3-4 star hotels in Aqaba has no private beach. A free shuttle bus takes customers to the Berenice Beach at the south coast. Please check with the hotel reception the time table.
• To respect the local culture please cover shoulders and knees.
• It is not permitted to bring telescopes or drones without permission to Jordan.

- After booking the tour with us online, one of our consultants will get in touch within 24 hours. You need to pay then a 25% deposit by credit card or by bank transfer. The full payment is due latest 14 days before tour start.
- Cancellations or changes need to be sent in written form. Charges are as follows:
• 25 $USD of the total price of the trip for cancellations from the date of booking until 31 days before departure.
• 25% of the total price of the trip for cancellations or changes made 30 to 08 days before departure.
• 100% of the total price of the trip for cancellations or changes made 07 to 01 days before departure or no show.
- For refunds we do not cover transaction fees charged by credit card companies and banks.
