Upon arrival at Amman Airport our representative welcomes you with a sign board after you passed through the customs. Direct transfer about 45-50 minutes to your hotel in Amman and overnight.

Amman - Amman City Tour - Jerash - Ajloun Castle - Amman

Amman City Tour

After breakfast we drive to the capital Amman. On the Citadel hill see the remains of the Roman till the Islamic Period, and pay a visit to the Archaeological Museum and the Roman Theatre nearby. You will also have some time to take a glimpse at the most diverse part of the city as you walk along the Souq and Rainbow Street.

Jerash

We leave to Jerash, the best example of a Roman provincial city in the whole Middle East. Visit the spectacular forum, Roman colonnaded street, the Nymphaeum and the Temple of Artemis.

Ajloun

From here we drive to the Islamic castle Ajloun with panorama views of the Jordan Valley.

Today drive to Mt. Nebo, the place where Prophet Moses gazed at the Promised Land before he died. You visit the old monastery and overlook the Jordan Valley, Dead Sea, Jericho and Jerusalem.

Petra

Breakfast, then visit the red rose city Petra, the biggest attraction of Jordan. Petra was first established around the 6th century B.C. by the Nabataean Arabs, a nomadic tribe who settled in the area and laid the foundation of a commercial empire that extended into Syria. With the guide pass the canyon, the so called Siq, to see the most beautiful monument: the Treasury. Continue via the Street of Facades to the Royal Tombs and Pharaoh's Castle. After that, free time to explore Petra on your own. In the afternoon, return to your hotel and overnight in Petra.

In the afternoon 1.5 hr drive to Wadi Rum desert, one of the most impressing desert landscapes in the world. Get a glimpse of this vast area with its sand dunes, rock inscriptions, mountains and canyons during a jeep tour.

Practical Info

• Official check in time at hotels 15:00 – check out time at hotels 12:00.
• Breakfast at hotels is served in the main restaurant.
• The driver/tour guide escorts you according to the booked itinerary, he is not 24/7 at your disposal.
• You walk several km in Petra, so bear in mind good walking shoes and a backpack for beverage, camera etc.
• All guides in Jordan are licensed by the Ministry of Tourism in Jordan and are not part of our team.
• In case of rain the government may decide to close Petra for safety and security reasons.
• For the Dead Sea beach don’t forget swimwear, flip flops and water sandals.
• The Petra ticket includes a 700 meters horse ride from the main gate to the beginning of the Siq. The ride is not mandatory; the horse handler expects a tip of 5 JOD per horse.
• 4x4s in Wadi Rum are old vehicles without A/C and seat belt. They belong to the local Bedouin association.
• Wear comfortable walking shoes and depending on season pack sun protection.
• To respect the local culture please cover shoulders and knees.
• It is not permitted to bring telescopes or drones without permission to Jordan.

- After booking the tour with us online, one of our consultants will get in touch within 24 hours. You need to pay then a 25% deposit by credit card or by bank transfer. The full payment is due latest 14 days before tour start.
- Cancellations or changes need to be sent in written form. Charges are as follows:
• 25 $USD of the total price of the trip for cancellations from the date of booking until 31 days before departure.
• 25% of the total price of the trip for cancellations or changes made 30 to 08 days before departure.
• 100% of the total price of the trip for cancellations or changes made 07 to 01 days before departure or no show.
- For refunds we do not cover transaction fees charged by credit card companies and banks.
