Tour Description
This day tour will bring you to explore the northern part of Jordan. The first stop is, Umm Qais located on a hilltop overlooking the Sea of Galilee and Jordan Valley. Then we move to Jerash popularly known as the well preserved Greco Roman city where you’ll see the well preserved ruins dated 332 BC. End our tour visiting the Ajloun Castle, built in 1184 AD, by Izz al-Din Usama, one of Salah al-Din’s general.

Umm Qais
Early morning we depart from the Dead Sea to Gadara (Umm Qais), famous of the Gadarene swine. The site belonged to the famous Decapolis, a union of 10 cities, founded by Alexander the Great. Enjoy the great view over the north Jordan Valley, the Golan Heights and the Sea of Galilee.

Jerash
We continue to Jerash, well known Roman provincial city in the whole Middle East. Walk around the site to see the spectacular forum, Roman colonnaded street, the Nymphaeum and the Temple of Artemis.

Ajloun Castle
Next stop is Ajloun the great 12th century Islamic castle built around 1184/85 by the famous Islamic leader Salah al-Din.
