Day 1
Tunis – Matmata – Sahara Desert

Matmata

From your hotel in Tunis, start the tour with a transfer to Matmata. This locale played host to various scenes in the iconic "Star Wars" movie, and it is where the captivating underground residences of the Berber Troglodytes can be found. Here you will have the opportunity to meet a Berber family and visit their home.

Sahara Desert

In the afternoon, we continue to Douz, the gateway to the Sahara desert. You will have an option to ride a camel at your own expense. Proceed to your camp to check in and rest. In the evening, join the Berber bread-making demonstration then enjoy your dinner. Overnight at the desert.

Day 2
Sahara Desert – Tozeur
3 Stops

Eden Palm

A several hours of driving to Tozeur via Chott Jerid, the largest salt lake in all of North Africa. First stop, we the captivating open-air museum known as Eden Palm. Here, you will learn about date production where you will be meeting some skilled artisans and sample of the products.

Chebika – Tamerza – Ong Jemal

Your adventure continues as you embark on a 4x4 to explore the mountain oases of Chebika, Tamerza, and Ong Jemal, iconic locations where the legendary Star Wars film was crafted.

Tozeur

In the later afternoon, drive back to your hotel in Tozeur and overnight.

Day 3
Tozeur – Tunis
1 Stop

Tunis

At a pre-arrange time, drive back Tunis. End of service.

- After booking the tour with us online, one of our consultants will get in touch within 24 hours. You need to pay then a 25% deposit by credit card or by bank transfer. The full payment is due latest 14 days before tour start.
- Cancellations or changes need to be sent in written form. Charges are as follows:
• 25 $USD of the total price of the trip for cancellations from the date of booking until 31 days before departure.
• 25% of the total price of the trip for cancellations or changes made 30 to 08 days before departure.
• 100% of the total price of the trip for cancellations or changes made 07 to 01 days before departure or no show.
- For refunds we do not cover transaction fees charged by credit card companies and banks.
