Ahlan wa Sahlan! Welcome to Tunis, capital of Tunisia. The city has two main sections – the 19th-century Ville nouvelle grid (created by French colonialists) and the eighth-century medina where all alleyways lead to the Great Mosque. You’ll explore both tomorrow. Transfer to your hotel for check in and overnight.

Carthage

After breakfast, Departure to Carthage, spot some of Tunisia’s most exclusive villas along the way. Explore the city with your guide, taking in ancient landmarks with sweeping views of the surrounding coastline. Learn about how Carthage was famously destroyed by the Romans in 146 BC, but excavations have revealed homes, sewage systems, and the remains of the city walls.

Sidi Bou Said

After visiting the UNESCO-listed archeological site, continue to Sidi Bou Said, a blue-and-white, picturesque village that looks over the Mediterranean.

Bardo Museum

Pause for lunch at a local restaurant, then return to Tunis to visit the Bardo National Museum, whose exhibits display Roman mosaics, early Islamic ceramics, and rare Phoenician artifacts.

Tunis

Make the final stop of the day in the Tunis Medina, the city’s UNESCO-listed old city. Follow your guide through the narrow streets to the Zitouna Mosque, a traditional cap-makers market, and Tunis colorful perfume market. Afterwards, you will proceed to your hotel in Tunis for check in, have dinner and overnight.

BREAKFAST at the hotel then Departure to Dougga and visit the pinnacle of the Roman presence in Tunisia. the visit to Dougga invariably begins with the Theatre, whose splendor is unchallenged by its nearness to the car park. Built-in 168 AD by one of the town’s wealthier occupants, Marcus Quadratus, the Theatre can seat up to 3,500 people. It is from here that you find the residential quarter, Temples, and extensive Licinian Baths, and there are some choice spots down here to photograph the Capitol.

After enjoying lunch in Dougga, head up to the final destination of the day, Kairouan, Proceed to your hotel, check in, have dinner and overnight.

Kairouan - Tozeur

After breakfast head out to explore Kairouan. Discover more about the city with a visit to the ninth-century Great Mosque of Oqba Ibn Nafi, an important example of Islamic architecture. Many of the columns throughout the complex were taken from the ruins of cities like Carthage. On a walk through the serpentine streets of the local medina, pass the souqs and get a tasty sample of makroudh (a traditional local pastry stuffed with dates) and learn about the traditional trade of local women – rug making. Lunch in Kairouan then proceed to your hotel in Tozeur. Check in have dinner and overnight.

Tozeur - Tamerza - Chebika - Mides Canyons

After breakfast, departure to Douz with a stop at the (Salt Lake) (Chott el Djerid) Your adventure starts with an amazing view, changing from lands of green palms to dunes of golden sand Arrive in Douz Visit Douz Souk and enjoy an optional Camel or Quad Tour. Continue through the huge charming dunes, Have lunch in the middle of the desert then continue through the sand dunes to arrive at Sahara Camp. Check in have dinner and enjoy the night drumming around the campfire.

Douz - Matmata- Tataouine

After breakfast, Departure to Eljem. Have lunch and explore El Jem (Thysdrus) the Roman amphitheater, the third biggest & the best-preserved one in the Roman world. Afterward, transfer to your hotel or location in Tunis where our services will reach an end. Ma’a Salamah!

• 25% of the total price of the trip for cancellations or changes made 30 to 08 days before departure.
• 100% of the total price of the trip for cancellations or changes made 07 to 01 days before departure or no show.
