Drive along the coastal road to the Corinth Canal, Continue to Epidaurus to visit the Sanctuary of Asklepios and Theater of Epidaurus, proceed to the port town of Nafplio, tour will conclude in Olympia after passing through Central Peloponnese and the towns of Tripolis and Megalopolis. Visit the archaeological site of Ancient Olympia with the Sanctuary of Olympian Zeus. Kalimera and welcome to Greece! Meet your driver in the waiting hall Athens Airport, who will transfer you to your hotel in Athens. Rest of the day free to relax or explore your neighbourhood.

Athens - Epidaurus - Nafplio - Mycenae - Olympia

Epidaurus

Pickup from your hotel and we drive along the coastal road to the Corinth Canal, where a short stop will be made to take pictures. Until 2004 the bridge over the canal was the only way leading into the Peloponnese Peninsula.

Nafplio

Continue to Epidaurus to visit the Sanctuary of Asklepios and Theater of Epidaurus, famous for its remarkable acoustics. We will proceed to the port town of Nafplio, the first capital of the modern Greek state. Stroll the narrow, cobble-stoned roads of the Old Town.

Mycenae

Our next stop will be Mycenae where you will visit the Acropolis of Mycenae and the Tomb of Agamemnon.

Olympia

Our tour will conclude in Olympia after passing through Central Peloponnese and the towns of Tripolis and Megalopolis. Overnight in Olympia.

Ancient Olympia - Delphi

Olympia

In the morning you will visit the archaeological site of Ancient Olympia with the Sanctuary of Olympian Zeus. See the Ancient Stadium where the Olympic Games were hold from 776 BC until 393 AD and the Archaeological Museum houses plastic art masterpieces like the Hermes of Praxiteles and the Nike of Paionios. Driving through the plains of Eliad and Achaia, we will cross the magnificent bridge that connects Peloponnese with mainland Greece. Built in 2004 it became the second connection point between the two regions.

Delphi

Passing the picturesque towns of Naupactus and Itea, we will arrive at the village of Delphi. Dinner and overnight in Delphi.

Delphi Visit - Kalampaka

Delphi

Pickup from your hotel and head 3 hours for Delphi at the foot of Mount Parnassus, considered by the ancient Greeks as the navel of the earth. See here the Temple of Apollo, the Oracle and the Stadium, where the Pythian Games were held and considered as sacred as the Olympic Games held in Olympia. In the Ancient Theatre more than 5,000 spectators could have a seat. And of course the Museum of Delphi, where you can admire the Charioteer, one of the best bronze statues ever! Delphi is perhaps best known for the oracle at the sanctuary that was dedicated to Apollo during the classical period.

Kalampaka

After departing Delphi, we will reach Kalampaka, a small traditional town that is built at the foot of the majestic rocky formation called Meteora. Dinner and overnight at hotel.

Day 5
Meteora Visit - Thermopylae - Athens

Meteora

In the morning, we will visit the Byzantine Monasteries of Meteora, listed as UNESCO world heritage site. Meteora is a rock formation in central Greece hosting one of the largest and most precipitously built complexes of Eastern Orthodox monasteries, second in importance only to Mount Athos. The six of an original twenty four monasteries are built on immense natural pillars and hill-like rounded boulders that dominate the local area. We pay an inside visit to two of these monasteries.

Thermopylae

Return to Athens via Trikala, Lamia and Thermopylae. In Thermopylae we will make a brief stop at the statue of the Spartan King Leonidas. It is a memorial of his battle with his fellow 300 Spartan warriors, supported by 700 Thespian warriors, against thousands of soldiers of the Persian Emperor Xerxes, in 480 BC

Athens Sightseeing & Cape Sounion Tour - Athens

In the morning, we will start our Athens city tour. You see the Parliament, the University, the Library, the Presidential Residence (Ex-King Residence) with the traditional guards. Other stops are at the Panathenaic Stadium, where the first Olympic Games took place in 1896, and the Temple of the Olympian Zeus. On foot we proceed to the Acropolis, where you can enter the Pantheon, and the New Acropolis Museum. After lunch, we will drive to Cape Sounion to visit the ancient Temple of Poseidon, the God of the Sea in classical mythology. The remains are perched on the headland, surrounded on three sides by the sea. Late in the afternoon we will drop you off at your hotel. Overnight in Athens.

Athens - Mykonos Island - Mykonos

Early in the morning, transfer to the Port of Piraeus to take the boat to the Cyclades island of Mykonos. It is popular for its beaches and its exciting nightlife, its picturesque houses. Our bus will pick you from Mykonos port to transfer you to your hotel. Free time to discover the Island of the Winds with windmills from the 16th century. Stroll in Little Venice with its fishing houses at the waterfront of the island. Or walk through the narrow streets of "Matogianni" to shop local items. Optional: Afternoon guided cruise tour to Delos. Chance to do a half-day trip to the sacred island Delos, believed to be the birthplace of Apollo and Artemis. You visit the remains of the Temples of Apollo, the sanctuary of Artemis, the old city and the theater and walk down the celebrated Lion Street. Overnight in Mykonos.

Mykonos Island - Santorini Island - Santorini

Santorini

Today take another ferry from Mykonos Port to the famous Santorini Island in the Aegean Sea. Our bus will pick you from port to transfer you to your hotel. You have free time for yourself to explore the beauty of Santorini. Visit one of the volcanic beaches, explore villages with white and blue painted houses and walk along the narrow streets. Enjoy a drink or dinner at one of the hundreds places located just on the rocks above the blue sea. Optional Sunset Cruise Tour to Volcano with buffet on Board. Our driver pick you up from your hotel to start the cruise tour to the volcano’s ridge. We have a stop at the hot springs located on the west side. Dinner on Board, relax and enjoy our Greek tasteful buffet while capturing amazing photos of the Aegean Sea. After sunset return to the island. Overnight in Santorini .

Santorini Island - Ferry to Piraeus Port - Athens

Practical Info


• Summer Schedule 2021 Shared Group Holiday: The tour operates every Sunday (until 24th Oct), Monday (until 25th Oct) and Friday (until 22nd Oct).
• We estimate, the ferry trip from Piraeus to Mykonos takes 2.5 hours and from Mykonos to Santorini 1.5 hours.
• The hotel city tax needs to be paid locally. As idea, it costs 1,50 Euro per room, per night for a 3* hotel.
• Pack comfortable walking shoes, sun protection, scarf and swimming suits.
• For the visit of churches and monasteries women shall cover their hair.
• Photography: Do not use the flash in museums and religious places.

- After booking the tour with us online, one of our consultants will get in touch within 24 hours. You need to pay then a 30% deposit by credit card or by bank transfer. The full payment is due latest 20 days before tour start.
- Cancellations or changes need to be sent in written form. Charges are as follows:
• 50% of the total price of the trip for cancellations or changes made 40 to 20 days before departure.
• 100% of the total price of the trip for cancellations or changes made 19 to 01 days before departure or no show.
• Ferry tickets are non-refundable.
- For refunds we do not cover transaction fees charged by credit card companies and banks.
