Start your day with a hearty breakfast at the guesthouse, preparing you for another day of exploration. After checking out, embark on a journey to the health resort and spa town of Abastumani, situated at an altitude of 1,340 meters. Abastumani is enveloped by lush, forested mountains and holds historical significance as the site where the first observatory was constructed during early Soviet times. The town's reputation for its clear skies and stable weather conditions made it an ideal location for the observatory. Your guide will provide insights into the town's astronomical legacy and celestial history.

Zekari Pass

If the Zekari Pass is open, your journey continues along the gravel, unpaved serpentine road that winds through the captivating Meskheti Range. This mountain range borders the Imereti and Samtskhe-Javakheti regions and offers stunning views at every turn. As you ascend to the highest point of the path, reaching an elevation of 2,182 meters above sea level, prepare to be captivated by a breathtaking panorama that unfolds before you. See stunning vistas of the entire expanse of Georgia, with the majestic Greater Caucasus Mountains gracing the horizon. Please note that from October to late May, this road may be impassable due to weather conditions.

Our next destination is Vartsikhe Marani in Bagdadi municipality. This renowned wine cellar is celebrated for its production of organic, high-quality wines. The wines are crafted using traditional methods, undergoing fermentation and aging in qvevri, the distinctive pitchers that are buried underground. Indulge your palate as you savor the authentic flavors of Georgia's wines.

• This tour is a sharing tour. For 6 travelers and above or custom itinerary please contact us.
• Check in time at hotels is 14:00, check out time at hotels is 12:00 noon.
• Do not forget to bring; comfortable walking shoes, rain jacket, windbreaker or umbrella, hat or sun visor, sun glasses, sunscreen, glasses case and medical prescriptions (if you take any) with label or prescription in case asked by officials.
• For the visit of orthodox churches and monasteries dress modestly. Wear long trousers or skirts; women need to cover hair and shoulders.
• When taking photos in churches and monasteries do not use the flash.
• The driver will serve as your tour guide during the tour.
• We provide 2 bottle of mineral water per person per day.

• 50% of the total price of the trip for cancellations or changes made 31 to 14 days before departure.
• 70% of the total price of the trip for cancellations or changes made 14 to 08 days before departure.
• 100% of the total price of the trip for cancellations or changes made 07 to 01 days before departure or no show.
