Make a great deal by visiting Jordan and the Holy Land. You start your journey visiting the city of Amman already mentioned in Bible as Rabbath Ammon. Some other interesting sites to see is Madaba, Mt. Nebo, Dead Sea and the highlight in Jordan is the visit to rock city Petra. In Holy Land you have time to explore and walk the streets in the Old City of Jerusalem, then to the Church of Nativity and the scenic village of Ein Karem.

Day 1
Amman Airport – Amman

Upon arrival to Queen Alia Airport our representative will meet you with a sign after you passed through the customs. Transfer about 45 minutes to Amman, the capital of the country, stretching over 19 hills. The rest of the day is free. Overnight Amman.

Amman – Amman City Tour – Jerash - Amman

Amman

Start the day with a city tour in Jordan's capital. Amman, already mentioned in the Bible as Rabbath Ammon, is a bustling modern city. The historical places are located in downtown, where we visit the Citadel with remains from the Roman to the early Islamic period, and to the Archaeological Museum. We stroll via the Souq, where you get an idea of everyday life. Short walk to the Roman Theatre from 2nd century with 6000 seats.

Jerash

We leave to Jerash, the best example of a Roman provincial city in the whole Middle East. Visit the spectacular forum, Roman colonnaded street, the Nymphaeum and the Temple of Artemis.

Return to your hotel in Amman and overnight.

Amman - Madaba - Mt. Nebo - Dead Sea - Dana View - Shobak Castle - Petra

Madaba

Check out from the hotel and drive to Madaba, to view the famous mosaic 6th century map of Palestine in St. George's church.

Mt Nebo

Short ride to Mt. Nebo, the place where Moses gazed at the Promised Land before he died and believed to be his burial place. You visit the old monastery, overlook the Jordan Valley, Dead Sea and parts of the Holy Land.

Dead Sea

At the Dead Sea Beach, the lowest point on earth, you have leisure time at the beach and the chance to float on salty waters (showers and lockers available).

Shoback Castle

Afterwards, drive to Shobak the Crusader castle built by King Baldwin I. of Jerusalem. Enroute to view the Dana village.

Petra

Proceed to your hotel in Petra and overnight.

Petra Visit – Amman

Petra

After breakfast, visit the rock city Petra, Jordan's main attraction and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Petra was established around the 6th century B.C. by the Nabataean Arabs, a nomadic tribe settling in the area. With a sophisticated water supply and distribution system the city could prosper and the Nabateans founded a commercial empire that extended into Syria and controlled the main caravan routes at that time. Meet your private guide at the Visitor Centre and start the tour on horseback or on foot to the Siq, the narrow canyon with some votive niches. At the end of this gorge you will see the most beautiful monument of Petra, the Treasury, also known as Al Khazneh. Continue along the Street of Facades, the Royal Tombs and Pharaoh's Castle. Free time on your own.

Amman

In the afternoon, walk back the same route to the gate and transfer back to Amman. Check in to your hotel and overnight.

Amman - Allenby Bridge - Jerusalem Old City – Jerusalem

07:00 pick up and transfer to Allenby Bridge to cross from Jordan to Israel. A shuttle bus connects both terminals. We drive to Jerusalem. We start with an introduction to the city from the top of The Mount of Olives, and then walk down to the Garden of Gethsemane. We also visit the "Wailing Wall", the last remnants of the Temple in Jerusalem. If the current situation allows it, we will try to visit the Temple Mount as well. We continue in the footsteps of Jesus along the Stations of the Via Dolorosa, Jesus' "Way of Suffering", and unto the Church of the Holy Sepulchre, where Jesus was crucified and buried. The Via Dolorosa also passes through the Old City's oriental "Suq" (Bazaar). At the end of the day we visit King David's Tomb and the "Room of the Last Supper", the Ceanaculum. Overnight in Jerusalem.

Day 6
Jerusalem - Bethlehem - Ein Karem – Jerusalem

Bethlehem

We travel to Bethlehem, where we first visit the ancient Church of the Nativity, where we can really touch the very place where Jesus was born. Built by St. Helena already in the 4th century, it has been an active church and never destroyed ever since! Here St. Hieronymus wrote the first Latin translation of the Bible – the "Volgata". We shall also visit the "Milk Grotto" and the "Shepherds Fields". Please note that the tour to Bethlehem can be cancelled without prior notice due to security circumstances.

Ein Karem

Returning to Jerusalem, we drive to the picturesque village Ein Karim, the place where John the Baptist was born. We will visit the "St. John in the Mountains" church, built on the place where the house of St. John was standing. We will also visit the Church of Visitation, where St. Mary visited Elisabeth out in the vineyard, and prophesied her the birth of St. John.

• Temple Mount Opening Hours: Mon-Thu, winter time: 07:30-10:30, 12:30-13:30 – Mon-Thu, summer time: 08:30-11:30, 13:30-14:30 - Fri & Sat closed.
• For the visit of religious sites you need to dress modestly and cover shoulders and knees.
• Allenby Border or King Hussein Bridge opening hours: Sun-Thu 08:00-14:00, Fri & Sat 08:00-12:00. Travelers must be at the border 2 hours before closure. May change without prior notice.

• 25% of the total price of the trip for cancellations or changes made 30 to 08 days before departure.
• 100% of the total price of the trip for cancellations or changes made 07 to 01 days before departure or no show.
