Upon arrival to Amman Airport our representative meets you with a sign after you passed through the customs. Transfer to the hotel in Amman for overnight.

Amman - Amman City Tour - Jerash - Amman

Amman City

Breakfast, then start the day with a city tour in Amman. Visit the amphitheatre and the Jordan Folklore Museum and the Citadel.

Jerash

From here we drive in the north of Jordan to Jerash, the best example of a Roman provincial city in the whole Middle East. We visit the spectacular forum, Roman colonnaded street, the Nymphaeum and Artemis Temple. Back to hotel in Amman for overnight.

Amman - 3 Desert Castles - Dead Sea

3 Desert Castles

Today starts our tour to the Desert Castles in eastern Jordan. We visit the UNESCO World Heritage Site, Amra Castle with its zodiac dome and the early examples of Omayyad fresco paintings. Moreover, you view the fortress-like mysterious Qasr Kharanah and the black basalt Roman/Medieval Islamic fort at Azraq.

Continue to Dead Sea hotel, check in. The remainder of the day free with the opportunity to make the unique floating experience at the Dead Sea.

Dead Sea - Madaba - Mt. Nebo - King's Way - Kerak Castle - Petra

Mt Nebo

After breakfast we depart to Mt. Nebo. This is the place where Moses gazed at the promised land before he died and believed to be his burial place. You visit the old monastery, overlook the Jordan Valley, Dead Sea and parts of the Holy Land.

We proceed to Madaba, to view the famous mosaic 6th century map of Palestine in St. George's church.

Afterward, we drive along the famous ancient biblical caravan route the King's Way. We have a short stop at Wadi Al-Mujib, a great wide valley with magnificent geological formation.

Petra

Today visit the red rose city Petra, the biggest attraction of Jordan. Petra was first established around the 6th century B.C. by the Nabataean Arabs, a nomadic tribe who settled in the area and founded a commercial empire. You can start the trip on horseback or by foot to the canyon, the so called Siq, and then walk to the most beautiful monument: the Treasury, from here to the Street of Facades, the Royal Tombs and Pharaoh's Castle. Overnight in Petra.

In the morning we drive 1.5 hours southwards to the protected area of Wadi Rum, one of the most impressing desert landscapes in the world. Here still Bedouins live in a traditional way, and by 4x4 Jeep tour you discover canyons, sand dunes and Nabatean rock inscriptions.

Then onto Aqaba in the Red Sea, where the rest of the day is free. Overnight in Aqaba.

• For entry visa regularities see our blog Visa and Passport Requirements.
• Official check in time at hotels 15:00 – check out time at hotels 12:00.
• Breakfast at hotels is served in the main restaurant.
• 3-4 star hotels in Aqaba have no private beach.
• The driver/tour guide escorts you according to the booked itinerary, he is not 24/7 at your disposal.
• You walk several km in Petra, so bear in mind good walking shoes and a backpack for beverage, camera etc.
• The spot guides in Jerash & Petra are licensed by the Ministry of Tourism in Jordan and are not part of our team.
• In case of rain the government may decide to close Petra for safety and security reasons.
• For the Dead Sea beach don’t forget swimwear, flip flops and water sandals.
• The Petra ticket includes a 700 meters horse ride from the main gate to the beginning of the Siq. The ride is not mandatory; the horse handler expects a tip of 5 JOD per horse.
• 4x4s in Wadi Rum are old vehicles without A/C and seat belt. They belong to the local Bedouin association.
• To respect the local culture please cover shoulders and knees.
• It is not permitted to bring telescopes or drones without permission to Jordan.

- After booking the tour with us online, one of our consultants will get in touch within 24 hours. You need to pay then a 25% deposit by credit card or by bank transfer. The full payment is due latest 14 days before tour start.
- Cancellations or changes need to be sent in written form. Charges are as follows:
• 50 $USD of the total price of the trip for cancellations from the date of booking until 31 days before departure.
• 25% of the total price of the trip for cancellations or changes made 30 to 08 days before departure.
• 100% of the total price of the trip for cancellations or changes made 07 to 01 days before departure or no show.
- For refunds we do not cover transaction fees charged by credit card companies and banks.
