Start your full day sightseeing of Delhi. It was the capital of the Mughal Empire in the seventeenth century, and today capital of a country with over a billion inhabitants. Delhi is clearly divided between the old and the new city. In Old Delhi we will visit the largest mosque in India called Jama Masjid. The highlight of the tour is an exhilarating bicycle rickshaw ride through the bustling and colorful streets of fabled shopping bazaar, Chandni Chowk (Silver Street). We drive past Red Fort Citadel and reach Rajghat, a memorial to Mahatma Gandhi with nearby two museums dedicated to him too. Afternoon you will visit Qutub Minar, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, well known for Mughal architecture. Overnight stay at hotel.
In the morning after having breakfast, drive towards Agra in Uttar Pradesh. On arrival, check- in at your hotel. Later visit Agra Fort, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. It was built by Akbar the Great in 1565, and was used as main residence of the emperors of the Mughal Dynasty until 1638. Inside red sandstone fort you see Jahangir’s Palace, Khas Mahal, Musamman Burj, Diwan-i-Khas and Moti Masjid. Stay overnight at hotel. Driving Distance: 220 km / 4 hours
In the early morning, you will be taken for a sunrise visit to the incomparable monument of eternal love - The Taj Mahal. Return back to your hotel and take breakfast. Later drive towards Ranthambore National Park, a well-known park for Tiger Sighting. One of the largest national parks in the northern region of the country. On the way watch abandoned citadel of Mughal emperor Akbar known as Fatehpur Sikri. On arrival, check-in hotel. Driving Distance: 280 km / 6 hours
Today you will enjoy two Jeep safaris in Ranthambore National Park. You have the chance to spot a tiger. You may see animals like chinkara, palm civets or toddy cat, bats, desert cats, squirrels, snakes like kraits and cobras. The sanctuary is home to 272 species of birds. Return to hotel. Afternoon again do one more short safari in the same park. Return to hotel for overnight stay.
After breakfast drive to Bundi in Hadoti. It is well known for its Taragarh fort and step wells, more than 50 sunken stepwells around Bundi used to draw clean water . On arrival, check-in hotel for rest. Afternoon visit the Taragarh Fort and the ancient stepwell named Raniji Ki Bawli. Stay overnight in Bundi. Driving Distance: 160 km / 4 hours
Check-out and proceed to Udaipur, formerly the capital of the Mewar Kingdom, is a city in the western Indian state of Rajasthan. Founded by Maharana Udai Singh II in 1559, it’s set around a series of artificial lakes and is known for its lavish royal residences. En route visit the Chittorgarh Fort. On arrival at Udaipur check in your pre- booked hotel. Driving Distance: 264 km / 5 hours
Breakfast at hotel. Morning city sightseeing tour. Built in 1559 A.D. by Maharaja Udai Singh, the city has been described as the most romantic spot on the continent of India by Col. James Todd. The places of interest include City Palace which has several carved balconies, arches and decorated pillars, Zenana Mahal, Fateh Prakash, Durbar Hall and Shambhu Niwas. Also visit Jagdish temple, Sahelion-ki-Bari (queen's resort for the friends). Evening enjoy boat ride over the placid waters of Lake Pichola. Stay overnight at hotel.
Today travel to Jodhpur, known as the Blue City. On arrival visit Mehrangarh Fort situated 425ft above city, built by Rao Jodha around 1459 and Jaswant Thada, which is cenotaph built by Maharaja Sardar Singh of Jodhpur in memory of his father. There are many more historical places in Jodhpur which represent the royal past of Rajasthan. Later, you can stroll down the markets of Jodhpur. Stay overnight at hotel. In the morning after having breakfast, drive towards Jaipur, the capital of Rajasthan and known as Pink City. Visit the old quarters of Jaipur or attend a spiritual arti ceremony at the Hindu Birla Temple. This white marble temple is dedicated to Lakshmi and Vishnu. Homestay with a family. Take a guided tour of Amber Fort. Set in a picturesque location, Amber is a fascinating blend of Hindu and Muslim architecture. Built in the 16th century by Raja Man Singh in red sandstone and white marble, the palace complex has some very interesting apartments. Jai Mandir, Sheesh Mahal, Sukh Niwas, Ganesh Pol and Temple of Kali are some of the prominent areas of interest. You will be provided the Elephants to ascend the fort to visit the complex. Back to Jaipur; enjoy a tour of Jaipur city which was built by Maharaja Jai Singh, the notable astronomer 260 years ago. Visit the Maharaja’s City Palace (apart of which is the home of the erstwhile royal family), the Observatory, Hawa Mahal or the Palace of winds built in 1799 by Maharaja Sawai Pratap Singh and drive past the old part of Jaipur city. Today say farewell to your local and host and drive 270 km towards Delhi. On arrival in Delhi, check-in at hotel. Remainder of the day free.
